Located in east Parker, Colorado, Bee’s Chicken Coop Co-Op was created as a way to get healthy chickens (and healthier chicken eggs) to all families who would love to have chickens, but who don’t necessarily want all the work that goes along with having one’s own birds.
Our history:  Our family has always had the utmost respect for animals and nature.  After living many years in large cities, we decided it was time to move to the country where we could be closer to nature and live a peaceful life.  We always planned on having farm animals but decided it was simpler to start out by raising our own birds on our land.  We decided specifically on chickens and turkeys (and not other animals) primarily as a consequence of all the negative things we had learned about factory farming, which extended to all animals, even egg-laying birds who were not used for meat  (If you have not yet been enlightened on this topic, we refer you to several documentaries about food that changed our life:  “Food, Inc”, “Hungry for Change”, “GMO OMG”, and various TedTalks.  Links to articles are also provided here).

We sincerely hope that you will join us is raising healthy, happy chickens… all without work for you ! 🙂
